Somaliland ICT Conference 2020
Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) has initiated first annual Somaliland ICT Conference (SLICTC 2019).
The SLICTC 2019 was an opportunity to bring together Somaliland Government, ICT professionals, academics, policy makers, educational institutions, telecommunication companies, and ICT businesses. It facilitated discussion on how the ICT sector can be improved in order to create an enabling environment that can build appropriate sustainable solutions for long-term national development.
The conference in this year will focus on the role of ICT in the development of government sectors including education, health, finance and business sector.
This concept note outlines the SLICTC 2020 background, objectives, participants, conference outreach, key organizers, implementation modality, sponsors packages, themes and conference outcomes.
